Рассмотрены вопросы реализации проекта «Северный широтный ход», включая его приоритеты и драйверы. Актуальность данной темы связана с реализацией Транспортной стратегии Российской Федерации до 2030 года по транспортно-логистическому развитию районов Крайнего Севера и выходу к побережью Северного Ледовитого океана. Использованы аналитический, маркетинговый, проектный методы, материалы общего доступа и официальных сайтов, собственные исследования. Обозначены первоочередные научно-практические задачи, приоритеты реализации проекта, драйверы, «узкие места», варианты дальнейшего развития. На примере развития и модернизации железнодорожной и портовой инфраструктуры транспортной системы районов Крайнего Севера России изучены проблемы и перспективы проекта «Северный широтный ход». Реализация проекта позволит не только удвоить существующие пропускные способности транспортной инфраструктуры макрорегиона, но и вовлечь в хозяйственный оборот обширный спектр полезных ископаемых, обеспечить устойчивое присутствие России в западном и центральном секторах Арктики. Северный широтный ход — важнейшая составная часть формирования мультимодальной транспортной инфраструктуры Арктической зоны России по направлению «Северный морской путь – Северный широтный ход – Транссиб». Развитие рассмотренных приоритетов работы ОАО «РЖД» по проекту «Северный широтный ход» обеспечит максимально эффективную эксплуатацию заполярной железнодорожной магистрали. 

Examined issues related to the implementation of the Northern Latitudinal Railway project, including its priorities and drivers. The relevance of this topic is associated with the implementation of the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030 for the transport and logistics development of the Far North and access to the coast of the Arctic Ocean. Used analytical, marketing, design methods, shared materials and official sites, our own research. Marked identified the priority scientific and practical tasks, the priorities of the project, drivers, bottlenecks, options for further development. The problems and prospects of the Northern latitudinal course project were studied on the example of the development and modernization of the railway and port infrastructure of the transport system in the far North of Russia. The project will not only double the existing capacity of the transport infrastructure of the macroregion, but also involve a wide range of minerals in economic turnover, and ensure a stable presence of Russia in the Western and Central sectors of the Arctic.
