Статья посвящена памяти выдающегося ученого и педагога Юрия Ошаровича Пазойского (1941–2026). Освещены ключевые этапы профессионального пути ученого: от начала карьеры в МИИТе после окончания МГУ им. М. В. Ломоносова до руководства кафедрой и создания научной школы «Организация пассажирских перевозок на железнодорожном транспорте». Описан вклад Ю. О. Пазойского в развитие образования и науки на железнодорожном транспорте: модернизацию материально‑учебной базы (создание макетных комплексов и компьютерных классов для моделирования работы станций), подготовку тысяч инженеров и научных кадров (под его руководством защищены 12 кандидатских и три докторские диссертации), разработку фундаментальных научных работ и учебников. Особое внимание уделено его инновационным проектам, патентам и роли в организации международных конференций. Подчеркивается влияние ученого на развитие отрасли через подготовку специалистов для ОАО «РЖД» и смежных организаций. Статья — дань уважения Учителю, новатору и человеку, чье наследие продолжает жить в учениках и реализованных идеях.
This article is dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist and educator Yuri Osharovich Pazoisky (1941–2026). It covers key stages of his professional career: from the beginning of his career at MIIT after graduating from Lomonosov Moscow State University to his leadership of the department and the founding of the scientific school “Organization of Passenger Transportation on Rail Transport.” It describes Pazoisky’s contribution to the development of education and science in railway transport: the modernization of educational facilities (creation of mock-up complexes and computer labs for station simulation), the training of thousands of engineers and researchers (under his supervision, 12 candidate and three doctoral dissertations were defended), and the development of fundamental research papers and textbooks. Particular attention is given to his innovative projects, patents, and role in organizing international conferences. The scientist’s influence on the development of the industry through the training of specialists for JSC Russian Railways and related organizations is emphasized. The article is a tribute to a teacher, innovator, and man whose legacy lives on in his students and realized ideas.
