Abstract

The paper presents the results of the analysis of requirements to the supply of resources for track works. The main contradiction of the existing approach to the problem of supply of track works is shown, which is that the progress of productive forces is observed in the track economy, while the reflection of production relations in the scientific literature lags behind it. The work uses information materials obtained from open sources of track works performers, as well as the theory of logistics, the theory of systems, the basic provisions of the system approach. Methods: classification, analytical review, comparison. Results: the composition of participants in the supply of resources for track works and quantitative assessment of the need for resources are listed. A new approach is proposed, which consists in the fact that the participants of the supply of resources for track works are considered not in isolation, but in the form of a logistic transport system of track works provision. The specific features of the supplied resources and transport means are determined. The classification and structure of logistic transport systems of track works provision by types of resources are given. The functions of the elements of the systems and connections between them are analyzed. The importance of the new approach and its advantages for further study of logistic transport systems of track works provision is presented.
