Abstract
In modern conditions, the role of scientific and project work of students increases. Scientific work of students is aimed at developing their professional competencies, communication skills, and public speaking. It develops thinking activity, forms the ability to work with scientific literature, evaluate the results of scientific work of their colleagues, and conduct a patent search. The study contributes not only to improving the quality of the educational process, but also to the promotion of the educational institution in the regional market of educational services.
The use of the monographic method made it possible to analyze the organization of students’ scientific work, to suggest directions for using individual types of scientific work in the educational process. The author’s experience in organizing students’ scientific work is used.
The main directions of organizing students’ scientific work are outlined, an analysis of its effectiveness is presented. The author’s differentiation of types of work by courses of study is proposed, and the possibilities of including it in the educational process are considered.
Practical experience has proven the effectiveness of students’ scientific work, which is manifested both in the positive dynamics of students’ publication activity and in an increase in the number of students participating in project activities.
