Abstract

This article discusses the topical issue of the introduction of a dual education system in the railway industry, where the mentor of the enterprise plays a special role. The functions and tasks of a mentor are analyzed in detail, emphasizing his key role in the successful functioning of dual training.

An enterprise mentor is an experienced specialist who directly transfers practical knowledge and skills to students, teaching them at real production facilities. He shares his professional experience, demonstrating the right working methods and introducing students to the peculiarities of production in the railway industry. In addition, the mentor integrates young professionals into the corporate culture of the enterprise, introduces them to its values and traditions, helping them adapt to the working environment. The article emphasizes that effective mentoring is the key to the successful implementation of dual education, which allows training highly qualified personnel for the railway industry with the necessary general and professional competencies. The article also draws attention to the importance of close cooperation between educational organizations and railway enterprises in organizing practical training of students. This includes the joint development of educational materials, coordination of the educational process schedule and provision of high-quality practical training in accordance with the requirements of the railway industry.
