TRENDS OF MODERN EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT

374-384 171
Abstract

The other side of the record low unemployment rate in modern Russia is the growing shortage of qualified personnel, which is acutely felt in all industries. In such conditions, enterprises are ready to hire not only young specialists, but also students. The priority is to ensure advanced training of personnel in accordance with the requirements of the enterprise, creating conditions for students to combine study and work. To solve this problem, we need not separate events, but a comprehensive approach to organizing a partnership between employers and the professional education system, affecting all links of the educational process, integrating state and corporate training. One of the options for such an approach is the presented adaptive model of personnel training.
The model was developed within the framework of the project “Personnel for a High-Tech Enterprise”, implemented by the Basic Center for Training, Retraining and Advanced Training of Workers of the National Agency for Qualifications Development, and tested in a number of regions. It integrates several scenarios of interaction between employers and professional educational organizations, ensuring joint work at different stages of the personnel training cycle from motivating applicants to graduation and employment of young specialists and workers. Authentic methods of cooperation are provided for each area. Well-known options for partnership between business and education are presented in the focus of modern challenges, in the context of the possibilities of the federal project “Professionalitet” and the instruments of the national qualifications system. Along with the main characteristics of the model, a system of indicators is provided to assess the effectiveness of its implementation. The methods of comparative analysis and systematization of academic and expert publications, interpretation of the results of monitoring studies, study of regulatory legal acts, target programs, goal setting and conceptualization were used. Generalization of materials and experience of project activities made it possible to argue the conclusion that the condition for the operability of the proposed model is the transformation of the process of training personnel with in-demand qualifications into a common project of employers and professional educational organizations.

ORGANIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT FOR TRANSPORT

391-396 101
Abstract

The dynamic pace of socio-economic development of the country, the improvement of new science-intensive technologies, the digitalization of all spheres of public life and the introduction of innovations, including in railway transport, have determined the need for competitive, highly qualified specialists capable of professional growth, social and professional mobility. The expected model of a potential employee of the railway industry from the employer’s point of view is expressed in the federal state educational standard of secondary vocational education — the structure of the model highlights general and professional competencies that allow graduates to successfully solve problems in the relevant area of professional activity at railway transport facilities. The labor functions of a railway engineer are often associated with mathematical operations, which increases the requirements for the level of mathematical training of graduates.
The problem of the study is due to the contradiction between the demands of the state, the railway industry and society for railway specialists capable of solving high-tech problems using modern software, and the insufficient formation of the corresponding mathematical competencies of graduates — future railway specialists. The essence of mathematical competence as one of the components of the general professional competence of a graduate of secondary vocational education is revealed, a methodological model for the formation of mathematical competence of students — future specialists in railway transport is presented. The experience of implementing the developed methodology for the formation of mathematical competence of students in the real educational process at the Krasnoyarsk College of Railway Transport is described. The theoretical provisions and methodological recommendations obtained by the author can be used in the theory and practice of solving issues of increasing the level of formation of mathematical competence of students — future specialists in railway transport.

Abstract

The article presents the experience of studying the situational-heuristic method of planning and standardization in the educational process of the university. The main stages of calculations performed using heuristic methods are shown. The problems that students encounter when studying the above methods are named. It is proposed to use the mathematical apparatus of artificial neural networks to determine the duration of technological operations at railway stations. Descriptions of fragments of the software implementation of a single-layer artificial neural network are given. A similar problem can be solved when determining the duration of other technological operations: loading, unloading, processing of a train by teams of production and technical departments, etc.
Recommendations are given on the use of neural network theory in the educational process of BelSUT students when performing laboratory work both by constructing a neural network and by training it based on training samples (depending on the student’s specialty); course projects, within the framework of which the tasks of determining the duration of technological operations for a given operational situation may be additionally set, as well as within the framework of diploma design. The tasks may be set of both determining the optimal sample size that guarantees a given level of accuracy in establishing the values of the duration of technological operations, and determining the accuracy for a given sample size.

Abstract

Currently, various electric trains operate on the Russian Railways network, but the calculation of the time for boarding and disembarking passengers is based on general formulas, which is not entirely correct. The subject of the study is the dependencies of the configuration of the rolling stock and the elements of the train schedule, in particular the stopping time at intermediate points. The objectives are to study the parameters of some models of rolling stock that affect the process of boarding and disembarking passengers, to consider and formulate original proposals for the layout of rolling stock cabins, taking into account the category of the route.
The method of analytical comparisons is used. As a result, a conclusion is formulated about the need to take into account the category of the route, therefore, passengers, for ease of use and increasing the attractiveness of railway transport for passengers.

Abstract

The article discusses possible methods for improving the schedule of handling freight trains using the example of a marshalling yard. The marshalling yard is presented as an important link in the logistics chain of cargo delivery involving rail transport. Current conditions allow us to talk about the need to find effective solutions in the technology of transportation process management. In the logistics chains of cargo delivery, the marshalling yard acts as a link for changing the parameters of car traffic. The efficiency of the entire logistics chain will depend on the operation of such elements. The marshalling yard is also considered as a system, and the station parks are considered as elements of this system. The main operations performed when working with freight trains arriving at the disbandment in the sub-assembly park are described. The main factors influencing the amount of time required to perform key operations in the station’s fleet have been identified. It is proposed to use quality management methods for the technological processes of the station to clarify the duration of a number of operations using the example of a sub-assembly park. The operations performed by the park attendant are highlighted, which are analyzed and presented in the form of a Deming – Shuhart cycle. It is proposed to divide each stage of the cycle into sub-stages. As a result, a fundamentally new schedule for handling freight trains arriving at the disbandment based on the PDCA cycle has been developed.

DIGITALIZATION, INNOVATION AND MODELING OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT SYSTEMS

Abstract

The driver understands the existing traffic conditions and established rules, focusing on the information received through the visual apparatus, but the psychophysical capabilities of a person to analyze data are limited. Road organizations should take this into account in their activities. It is necessary to establish a reasonable information limit, so the goal of the work was to develop an algorithm for analyzing the driver’s gaze while driving in road transport to determine information overload. This indicator will help characterize road accidents.
Assessing accident rates in road transport is a multifaceted task that has been approached from different angles by scientists around the world. Attempts have also been made from the perspective of the driver’s information load, but there are still no justified information limits beyond which the existing driving modes are underestimated, so this work is relevant from a scientific and practical point of view.
Modern technologies have expanded the capabilities of data processing, including in the field of computer vision. In this work, the approach used was video culography. A software prototype for eye tracking based on changes in the position of the pupils in a video stream frame has been developed.
The driver’s gaze is recorded through coordinate points x, y. After preparing the algorithm for recording data and equipping the car with special technical means, a test drive was carried out in places where accidents were concentrated, and data was collected. To ensure the reliability of the conclusions, the recorded coordinates are compared with objects that attract the driver’s attention (road signs, roadsides, traffic lights, etc.). The accuracy of the program has been confirmed.
Studies have been conducted on the impact of drivers’ information load on accident rates.
The developed software prototype is highly accurate, the data is tabulated and has comprehensive information content. Research into the impact of information load on accident rates requires a change in the approach to data preparation and processing.

Abstract

The article considers the problems associated with the different perception of information by humans and computers, in particular, due to the variety of possible ways of presenting data on route schedules for various types of transport. In the context of digitalization of transport processes, when working with a large amount of initial information, a tool is needed that allows you to become a link between a person and a machine.
The purpose of the study is to develop a program for translating transport schedules from a format convenient for a person to a format convenient for machine processing when studying regional transport networks. The problems of analyzing various forms of presenting schedules and determining a common format for preparing initial data, developing an algorithm for the program and studying its possible applicability are solved.
An analysis of various web services and other sources providing information on transport schedules was carried out. The criteria that the initial data must satisfy, on the basis of which a template convenient for human perception was developed, are determined. The algorithm of the program and the features of its construction are described. The developed software product is an addition to the existing digital model of regional passenger communication in Crimea, which makes it possible to reduce the labor intensity of the process of filling the model with information, reduce the number of errors and increase the accuracy of modeling when creating multimodal regional routes and their further analysis.

TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE: ESTABLISHMENT, OPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT

437-444 134
Abstract

When moving on an overpass, a rolling stock is exposed to a complex combination of air flows formed as a result of displacement and inertial entrainment of air masses by the moving body, as well as lateral air mass flows from the open space. The aerodynamic loading formed in this way differs from the variant of train movement on a high embankment.
A numerical simulation of the aerodynamic load on a high-speed train when it moves on overpasses located in areas of intense wind exposure was performed. An assessment of the stability of the rolling stock under the effect of the “drift” phenomenon was carried out: the simultaneous action of a crosswind and inertial pressurization of air masses. Combinations of aerodynamic impact components were determined, under which conditions for an unacceptable decrease in the level of weight load on the running wheels of the bogies are formed. Limit values of the speed mode of train movement were established depending on the aerodynamic load formed under storm conditions.
The results of the studies showed the presence of a certain correlation between the level of turbulence of the disturbed air environment in the corridor of movement of a railway vehicle and reactions in the contact groups “running wheels – rail head” of the front and rear bogies.

METHODS AND TECHNOLOGY OF TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT. TECHNOSPHERIC SECURITY IN TRANSPORT

Abstract

The article considers the history of construction of the salt railway line, as well as the current transportation of salt from the deposit (Lake Baskunchak) from the Nizhny Baskunchak station to the Vladimirskaya pier station for further transshipment to river barges. An analysis of the deterioration of the track superstructure during the transportation of salt (halite) in an open way in gondola cars (in bulk) is carried out. The main causes of failures that can be caused by contamination of the ballast with bulk cargo, especially salts, are studied.
It is proposed to apply a paint and varnish coating in order to protect against corrosion, as well as to use water-jet track machines for the complete removal of salts and insulating joints made of fiberglass. To improve the reliability of the track circuits and eliminate deviations from the normal operation of signaling and interlocking devices due to metal corrosion, it is proposed to coat the iron with a protective layer of zinc.
When developing a salt deposit, a technical solution is recommended that consists of using modern technology. When mining salt in an open way, the proposed loader will make it possible to collect salt in such a way that a layer of new salt will form more quickly in the future. Such innovative approaches will ensure environmental safety and preserve natural resources.
